Cloud Architecture

How Does Azure Work?

microsoft azure How Does it Work?

Cloud computing isn’t new. It’s been around for many many years and in fact, if you’ve ever had a Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail account then you’ve already experienced a form of cloud computing.

Microsoft Azure works similarly to those mail services by sharing resources, software and information via the internet.

The services that you use are stored on physical servers in Microsoft’s datacentre, but are accessible in such a way that you have complete access and control.

The only thing your user's computer needs to be able to access and run these services and applications is interface software, which can be as simple as a web browser.

So rather than having to install applications onto each computer separately, you only need to load it once.
