Amazon Web Services Microsoft Workload Migration to AWS
Automate Microsoft Applications on AWS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has over a decade of experience running Microsoft workloads on the cloud and offers a scalable and secure infrastructure for its customers. Migrating your Windows-based applications to AWS gives you access to a broad selection of services with deep functionality while lowering the costs of running your Microsoft workloads.
Our on-premise solution installation was complex, Crayon automated the entire installation and now we are able to reduce customer onboarding time from several days to few hours with AWS.
What Microsoft services could you be running on AWS?
Mission Critical Apps
Tailored hybrid cloud infrastructure to host your business-critical applications such as SQL, Active Directory and SAP on Windows
Custom .NET Apps
Build and run scalable applications in modern and dynamic cloud native environments.
Decouple your applications and building them as independent microservices.
What Microsoft licenses can I take to AWS?
Knowing what Microsoft licenses that you can take to AWS is dependent on whether you purchased your license before or after October 2019. Perpetual licenses with SA that are eligible for License Mobility can be deployed on shared or dedicated infrastructure regardless of when the licenses were purchased or what type of agreement they were purchased under.
In other scenarios, including Windows Server and without-software-assurance, licenses must be deployed on dedicated infrastructure and in some cases in shared tenancy not at all.
