Crayon Group Holding ASA signs $100 million deal with US firm

In Announcements

Oslo, Norway -- Crayon Group Holding ASA (OSE: "CRAYON") announced today it has won an annual recurring agreement valued at $100 million with an undisclosed global IT provider based in the United States.

This agreement is based on Crayon’s core belief in the combination of software and cloud licensing and cloud analytics consulting services to identify and optimize existing IT spend. This firm will have material annual savings within the first 12 months with plans to extend these savings across all significant software spend.

“We are proud of our ability to deliver price optimization for our clients,” says Crayon CEO Torgrim Takle. “In addition to significant savings, this agreement further strengthens our growing presence in the US market.”

This latest agreement is one of many large US deals for the fast-growing Norwegian company, the most recent being a license agreement with one of the largest counties in the US. That deal, announced in July, is valued at $143 million.

“As our US presence expands, we recognize a significant gap in the US market to truly help customers control and optimize on-premise software investments and the exponential growth of cloud spend,” said Crayon US CEO Glenn Orcutt.
