In Announcements, Training & Events

What a year it has been. From winning unprecedented awards to record-breaking financial results, it’s been quite the whirlwind at Crayon. Before we are primed to have another blockbuster year in 2020, let’s take a lookback at our journey in 2019.

Microsoft AI and ML Partner of the Year Award. Our AI practice has always been a bedrock of innovation and inspiration. We pride ourselves on showcasing that our projects exemplify beyond-the-hype AI that creates true business value. This year Microsoft recognized our expertise by choosing us as the best in the world when it comes to AI and Machine Learning.

Women in Technology. We’ve made significant strides to support women in the technology industry. We launched our first global program aimed at increasing the number of women in Crayon management. The program features a customized leadership and opportunities for developing mentoring relationships. Also, we showcased extensive support to the SHE conference and its gender diversity index.

Global Expansion. We are a rapidly growing company, with our award-winning Talent Acquisition Team signing an average of one person a day to join the Crayon team. We have opened several offices in Australia, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. Our success is proven in the international markets as our financial results showed the gross profits from markets outside the Nordics amounted to 41% of the company’s total gross profit.

Awards and Accolades. Thanks to the hardwork of our colleagues and their unmatched expertise, it’s been a banner year for awards: Our team in the Phillippines received Microsoft’s global Country of the Year Award. LinkedIn awarded the team at our Oslo headquarters as the Best Talent Acquisition Team. US-based organization called The 20 awarded us with both the Best Partner of the Year Award and the Best Revenue Booster. There were many more recognitions from across the globe, none of which would be possible without our fantastic team.

Amazon Web Services Well-Architected Partner Status. We earned this specialized partner status for our deep technical proficiency and proven customer success. This is part of AWS’ prestigious Well-Architected Framework, which provides a consistent and scalable approach for customers to build secure, high-performing and efficient infrastructures for applications.

As we close 2019, we are looking forward to helping more with their digitalization journey in 2020.
