Crayon acquires Navicle – Leading expert in Oracle Cloud and On Premise Licensing Optimization
(SYDNEY, Australia) -- Crayon, a global leader in digital transformation services, announced today that it acquired Navicle, a specialist in Oracle on-premise and cloud license optimization.
The agreement will enable Navicle to leverage Crayon's expertise in cloud economics and cost optimization while continuing to support their local clients. This opportunity also allows Navicle to support Crayon's global customer base, providing their expertise and proprietary technology to a global audience.
We are continuing our investment in Australia because this region is a strategic market for Crayon given its size and maturity
said Crayon CEO Torgrim Takle. "The acquisition of Navicle gives us an even stronger foothold in this market, enabling us to continue to provide our expertise to our customers and support them to get the most out of their IT solutions while saving costs. In addition, we see opportunities for Navicle to support our other subsidiaries, helping them expand to a wider customer base that was previously out of reach."
Crayon started in 2002 in Oslo, Norway with an aim to help clients use only the software they truly needed. Through years of experience and growth, Crayon uses its expertise to guide customers on optimizing their entire IT estate.
The company advises organizations on every step of the digitalization transformation journey including everything such as software and cloud assessment and migration; software and cloud governance and optimization; support, and powering innovation through emerging technologies such as AI, IoT and Machine Learning.
Crayon opened its first offices in Australia in August 2019 and has since grown exponentially. Fueled by a strong business model and ability to create true business value for its customers, Crayon continues to expand globally and the acquisition of Navicle is part of that strategic growth and investment in the ANZ region.
Navicle and Crayon share the same customer-focused DNA and operate on the same values. With Crayon's global reach and breadth of capabilities, we offer a more complete product to the regional market, which I am excited about
said Pieter Jansen, Director and Co-founder of Navicle.
"Navicle has a unique value proposition for our customers globally" said Florent Bellahsene, Crayon Vice President of South East Asia. "Combining their best in class consultants and IP, they have regularly provided cost savings of up to $1,8M for their enterprise customers, including several Australian government departments.
