How One Mom’s Story Influenced Crayon’s AI Practice
Our AI practice is a special one. We’ve transformed businesses and modernized workforces, but what I’m most proud of is how our emerging technologies have helped healthcare workers to potentially save lives.
We’ve long had a close relationship with Microsoft, and in a conversation with Melissa Mulholland, the director of business strategy for Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner, she shared her story of being pregnant and finding out that her child might not survive. She turned to technology for help, and thankfully it worked.
I was touched by Melissa’s experience and challenged our AI team to see how we could use AI to make a difference in healthcare. Our journey with Melissa is detailed in this new feature story.
Our AI team met the challenge and we’ve grown to make significant developments in various parts of healthcare. This includes our work with Norway’s national hospital that aimed to improve colon cancer screening, our solution to help frontline workers prevent hospital patients from falling out of bed and using AI to find out more about cardiac arrest events.
Our focus on finding innovative solutions and using real-world cases resulted in us having a world-leading AI and ML practice, and just last year Microsoft named us the global AI and Machine Learning Partner of the Year.
I feel fortunate to be part of a company that can make such a difference in people’s lives. I’m sending a big thank you to Melissa, to Microsoft and most important, to all of our big data experts who work tirelessly to develop such innovations.
We are definitely better together.
